Terms of Use

Last updated: May 10, 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using Darts Target Line (the "App"). By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Release note: Replace the "developer" placeholder below with the official operator name before store submission. Also confirm that inquiries sent to the contact address can actually be received and handled.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is a practice recording aid for darts training. It helps users store practice results on their device and review last results, personal bests, target lines, and related practice history. The App does not guarantee improved performance, match results, coaching outcomes, or any particular result.

2. Conditions of Use

Users use the App at their own responsibility. Minors should use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Data Storage and Management

The App generally stores practice data on the user's device. The App does not currently provide account registration, server sync, or cloud backup.

Users are responsible for managing their devices, operating systems, backups, app deletion, and data deletion operations. Data may be lost due to device loss, failure, reset, app deletion, operating system issues, or other causes.

4. Pro Features and Purchases

After paid purchase functionality is implemented, the App plans to provide Darts Target Line Pro as a one-time Pro feature. Pro is not a subscription. It is planned as a Non-consumable In-App Purchase on App Store and a One-time product on Google Play. The content, price, timing, and conditions of Pro features are subject to the information displayed in the App, App Store, Google Play, or related web pages.

Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases, restoration, refunds, cancellations, and related matters are subject to the terms and refund policies of the applicable app store and applicable laws. If the user cancels on the purchase screen, Pro features will not be enabled.

Refunds are not processed directly inside the App. Refund requests and decisions are handled according to the App Store or Google Play refund policy. If a refund is granted by the store, Pro features may be disabled after purchase status is checked again.

Any Pro-related text shown in a build where actual paid purchase functionality is not available describes planned functionality only. It does not mean that a purchase contract has been concluded or that paid features are currently provided.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in any of the following:

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App, screens, text, logos, programs, data structures, and other App materials belong to the developer or the legitimate rights holders. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive right to use the App under these Terms.

7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

The developer may change, suspend, or terminate the App's content, features, specifications, or conditions as necessary. When important changes are made, the developer will provide notice in the App or on the public web page to a reasonable extent.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, the developer does not warrant accuracy, completeness, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, data preservation, compatibility with device environments, performance improvement, or any other results.

If the user suffers damage in connection with the use of the App, the developer is not liable except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. If mandatory consumer protection laws or other mandatory laws do not permit such limitation, those laws will apply.

9. Relationship With App Store Terms

Downloading, purchasing, billing, refunds, restoration, and related matters may be subject to the terms of Apple App Store or Google Play. If these Terms conflict with the terms of the applicable app store, the app store terms may prevail for transactions, billing, and distribution managed by that app store.

If the App is obtained through App Store or Google Play, these Terms are concluded between the user and the developer, not with Apple or Google. The developer is responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, and support to the extent required by applicable law and these Terms.

For the App obtained through App Store, Apple and Apple's subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against the user as third-party beneficiaries.

10. Changes to These Terms

The developer may change these Terms as necessary. When important changes are made, the developer will provide notice in the App or on the public web page by an appropriate method. If the user continues to use the App after the change, the user is deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by law, the Tokyo District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes relating to the App or these Terms.
